The spacious three storey building was converted approximately 5 years ago and is one of only twelve apartments. The building is quiet and private. There is access off the main living area to a good sized balcony at the side of the building with decked flooring and sea views. It overlooks Barricane Beach, famous for its shell collecting.

There is interesting, original art work through out the apartment and cosy sofas in the living area. The dining table seats 4 persons and there is also a highchair if needed. There is a compact and well equipped kitchen. The master bedroom is large with plenty of storage space. This room has an ensuite shower room. The second bedroom is a fun room with bunk beds. A travel cot is also provided. There is also a separate family bathroom.
To the front of the property is a shared terrace with seating which enjoys magnificent sea views, from Baggy Point all the way to Mortehoe. The sunsets are stunning. Relax and take time to watch the sun sink behind Lundy Island. This family holiday apartment in Woolacombe is in a great location and makes an ideal place for everyone including families with young children, walkers or cyclists. Having the coastline, Exmoor National Park and the Tarka Trail all within easy access, it is an adventurer’s haven.

Each self catering apartment has a dedicated parking bay, number 8 is on the seaward side when you arrive at Devon Beach Court, which can be accessed off Rockfield road (first right off the Esplanade). There are then 2 entrance doors with one step which lead into the impressive atrium. The apartment in Woolacombe is on the floor below which is served by a staircase or lift. Main entance doors are secure and there is an intercom system in each apartment.
Living/dining areas with TV, freeview, DVD player and VCR, a selection of books CDs, DVDs, puzzles and toys. There is a door entry system for doors on the ground and third floors.
The kitchen includes an electric oven, gas hob, cooker hood, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. A tumble dryer is housed in a cupboard off the hallway with the iron, various buckets and spades, body boards, wind brakes, airers and vacuum cleaner. Picnic ware is also provided.
Bedroom 1 - a large Double, with CD player and radio, chest of drawers, dressing table and wardrobe and en suite shower room with shower cubicle, WC and basin.
Bedroom 2 with Bunks (more suitable for children), a wardrobe (in which bean bags are located) and a chest of drawers on which sit suitable children’s books

Linen and towels (hand and bath), oven gloves and a welcome pack consisting of tea, sugar, juice, milk, biscuits, a bottle of wine (for week-long bookings) and many other household essentials (cooking oil, condiments,herbs and cleaning materials, paper disposables, shampoo and bath oils). There is gas central heating and weekly cleaning. Sorry no pets and no smoking. Short breaks available out of season. 4pm arrival time unless agreed with the housekeeper. Changeover is a Friday.
